I am living in PA with my honey...just moved here from CA on Aug 29th. I am deaf in one ear as a result of the CI Implant, (which so far isn't working), and hard of hearing in the other, and I use a hearing aid in that ear. I lip read, and know very little sign.
My honey is the bike rider, and I just tag along on the back.
This forum seems to be kind of new? I hope it picks up, as I like the idea of communicating with other deaf bikers.
How do you know what are the most recently discussed topics? I belong to another forum, which has a very similiar format, and there is a scrolling portal where we can see the last visited topics, and who was the last person to post on it. Do we have something similiar that I just can't find?

Hi deeeeee, sorry to hear that your CI isn't working. Did you complain about it cuz its an expensive thing!
Yes, the forum is very new! I just set it up last month and hoping to see it grows bigger. About the most recently discuss topic icons - I will have to figure it out to make it work. Like I just said.. it's new and so am I to the forum. I'll check it out tonight or ask the other forum administrator to help me out. Thanks for your input.

Yes, I complained and was due to have an integrity test done on the actual implant, when I moved to CA and had to cancel the appt.
Since I've been in PA, I need to change insurance and audiologists. Plus, I just became eligible for the new Harmony, which I recieved yesterday, so now I need to get on the ball!

I looked for that option you suggested. It seems that it does not apply to the free forums - only paid forums have that kind of options. What you can do is to look at the dates on the right side of the column. That's the only way to do it.
