nice motorcycle course in Lawrence, KS!

Postby sunflower bikle on Wed Aug 20, 2008 9:43 pm

Hello all-

I checked out on the motorcycle course in Kansas and I surprised that course have in Lawrence, so I signed up the class. The teacher was very please for me to enter their class, because I am first deaf person to took the class. This class require to have 20 hours, so on Wednesday night, then all day on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I passed the test exam on Wednesday night, then I drove my bike on the parking lot with four other student all morning on Saturday while light rain and wet. Then Saturday afternoon, we watched the video and teacher explain about do and don't. Then Sunday, we drove the bikes on the parking lot, then we passed the drive test! My score was 98 percent!

In Kansas, I think that kind of stupid....so many people who entered the DMV and took the motorcycle test. Only 60 percent failed the test! Why? They don't know anything about bike rules, no video showing or not much time to read the book. 40 percent, who were lucky to passed the test exam and drive test, then they always to have an accident within six months. One guy who passed the test and drive, then one week later, he killed by the curve road as he drove fast speed! Why, he didn't know much about motorcycle course! I recommend that everybody should take the motorcycle course first, then go to DMV and get your license.

Be safe to learn and drive more safe!

Hi, thank for ask me question about an interpreter. Well, they asked me about an interpreter and I said, no, because I am hard of hearing and speech good with hearing people. If I am total deaf, of course, I need an interpreter. Other hands, we spend about four hours on the video tv with close caption, that is impressive!

The teacher was realized that not sure if I can understand on the course in the first day class and surprised that I passed the test exam as 98%. Then they don't worry about me on the weekend for drive the bike and passed the drive test!

At end of the class, they asked me to look for any interpreter, in case if deaf people come in the class. They told me about an interpreter cost 45 dollars and need 20 hours for course, which they have to pay an interpreter for 900 dollars while I pay 195 dollars for the class. I asked him about any deaf people come to the class before and they said I am first one.
